Universal Pre-Kindergarten

The Wantagh School District has received a grant from the Federal government and New York State to operate a Universal Pre-Kindergarten program for students residing within the school district for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. The program will continue to be offered as long as grant funds are available.

This program is being offered through a partnership with SCOPE Education Services in each district elementary school. It is a full day, five-hour program that will be available to all students that turn four years of age prior to December 1, 2024. Eligible students may only have birthdates that fall between December 1, 2019 and November 30, 2020

If you are interested in having your child participate in this free program, please register for the Universal Pre-Kindergarten lottery by January 17, 2024. If you have more than one eligible child, you MUST submit a separate registration for each child.
