Moment of Gratitude for Wantagh Board of Education

Moment of Gratitude for Wantagh Board of Education

The five trustees of the Wantagh Board of Education dedicate their time to the community’s students, and they were recognized for their efforts on Oct. 19 for National School Board Recognition Week.

At the beginning of the monthly business meeting, Superintendent John McNamara took a few moments to thank the trustees for volunteering their time to support education. The board of education includes President Adam Fisher, Vice President Tara Cassidy and trustees Anthony Greco, Jennifer Perfetti and Laura Reich. The trustees collectively have about three decades of board service, with Mr. Greco the longest-serving member in his 12th year.

“They do this because they are here for our kids,” Mr. McNamara said. “We have a board that is dedicated to improving our schools and making them as best as possible for Wantagh’s students.”
